A website, by Drexel U., is Ask Dr. Math (http://mathforum.org/dr.math/) - you can ask questions, or explore the questions that other's have asked - great tool for homework and research! Another website, appropriate for all grades, teachers and parents, is Firstinmath.com. This website has skill levels and fun games that cover all the curriculum material for math in their grade. Please note that this site does require a fee (around $6). You and/or your child will be ranked nationally, as well as in the state and school for their scores. There are awards given to the highest scorers. Please take a minute to look at the site! Explore, have fun, and learn! For 8th grade: www.algebra1.com/parent _ student (a good site for parents, of those in the 8th grade, to be proactive in their child(ren)'s studying - provides study guides). Algebra.com also offers extra examples, self check quizzes, vocab review, chapter tests, and even standardized tests for review/study help. Please make use of these resources! For 7th grade: www.msmath3.net offers the same information and help. Please use these resources for additional support if you need it For 5th grade: www.msmath1.net is the textbook website that has the same study guides and tools for additional research and support. It is similar to an ipod, it plays music and games, however it is also 'connected' to the best textbooks for math, science, english, etc. it even has spanish! It may be helpful in getting students who are interested in playstations etc. to study, or can be used just as a fun study aid.
